YMCA offers before-, after-school care

The Triunfo YMCA is enrolling children from kindergarten through eighth grade in the fall before- and after-school childcare programs at area schools.

The Y serves Oak Park, Agoura Hills and Westlake Village.

Childcare hours are 6:30 a.m. through 6:30 p.m. The service is available on all school days, pupil-free days and minimum days. Week-long camp programs are held during winter, Thanksgiving and spring breaks.

Childcare locations are Willow, Sumac, Yerba Buena and White Oak elementary schools.

Transportation to childcare sites is provided from Westlake, Westlake Hills, Brookside, Oak Hills, Red Oak and Medea Creek schools. Children are kept active and engaged during childcare hours with a curriculum that includes arts and crafts, sports and homework assistance.

Each site is licensed by the State Department of Social Services. All staff is screened and trained.

The Triunfo YMCA has been offering childcare since 1989.
