Someone attempted to make fraudulent purchases using a bank card belonging to a resident in the 5600 block of Middle Crest Drive April 22.

A person stole two bags containing $120 worth of medicine from a vehicle parked in the 5700 block of Lake Lindero Drive April 20. The thieves shattered a $200 window to gain entry.

A burglar caused $200 in damages to steal a pair of inexpensive sunglasses from a vehicle parked in the 28500 block of Driver Avenue April 20.

Calabasas

A woman in the 23600 block of Calabasas Road reported that her wallet containing a driver's license, debit and Social Security card had been stolen. Her bank card was used to make fraudulent purchases at the West Hills Target on April 25.

A similar incident occurred in the 24000 block of Sorrento Drive April 24 when someone stole a $200 wallet containing $25 in cash, credit cards and a driver's license, and used the bank card to make purchases at the same Target store.

Thieves stole three television sets, a laptop computer and boxing gloves from a business in the 23900 block of Calabasas Road April 23. The value of the loss was $4,700. They shattered a $500 glass door to gain entry.

A thief stole a $400 cellphone from the front counter of an office in the 4700 block of Park Granada April 23.

Someone tried to use a stolen credit card belonging to a resident in the 26100 block of Adamor Road to purchase food at a fast food restaurant. The transaction was declined. The incident was reported April 23.

A thief stole a bracelet valued at $5,700 and a wallet containing bank cards from a restaurant in the 4700 block of Commons Way. The culprit used the cards to make fraudulent purchases, said the victim who reported the incident on April 23.

Vandals caused $9,500 in damages to a vehicle parked in the 4800 block of Las Virgenes Road April 11.

Someone stole a $400 navigation system and a $100 CD player from a vehicle parked in the 5500 block of Las Virgenes Road on April 21. They also caused $300 in damages to a window.

Westlake Village

A thief stole a purse containing a wallet, credit cards, driver's license and a pair of $115 sunglasses from a store in the 30800 block of Thousand Oaks Boulevard April 24.

A thief stole a package containing two Technicolor DVD movies valued at $30,000 from the front of a home in the 30800 block of Calais Court April 1.
