SCLA playoffs begin this weekend

The first round of the Southern California Lacrosse Association postseason gets underway Sunday at Newbury Park High with Westlake (2-6) taking on Calabasas (0-8) at noon.

Sunday's winner will play topseeded Agoura (71) Tuesday at 8:30 p.m., also at NPHS.

Tuesday's other second-round matchup will pit host Newbury Park (7-1) against Thousand Oaks (4-4) at 6:30 p.m.

The SCLA championship game takes place Fri., May 9 at 7 p.m. at Newbury Park.
