Hair donations help cancer patients
Program is part of Agoura Relay for Life

The Agoura Relay for Life is participating in a Pantene's Beautiful Lengths program in which Pantene uses donated human hair to make wigs for female cancer patients who are undergoing chemotherapy.

At the Relay for Life on May 3, two hairdressers will be available to cut the hair of any male or female who wishes to donate hair for this cause.

Requirements are that the ponytail to be cut off must be at least eight inches long, not gray or colored with permanent dye, and should be cleanly washed with no hair products in it at the time of donation.

To make a hair donation, go to the Mission Delivery tent at the Relay event between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Sat., May 3 at Willow Elementary School, 29026 Laro Drive, Agoura Hills.

For more information, call Lois Koch, Mission Delivery co-chair, at (888) 888-8357 or visit www.events.cancer.org/ rflagouraca.
