St. Jude team wins top honors

The St. Jude the Apostle School took top honors in the category of deanery at the recent California Catholic Schools Junior High Academic Decathlon at the Los Angeles Sports arena.

The team also broke their Super Quiz scores from previous years.

Students Richard Fasani won seventh place and Robert Darakjian made fifth place in their individual subjects of math and social studies, respectively.

Decathlon coaches Jilian Vitelli and Lisa Pino, eighth grade teacher Renee Rodriguez and principal Patrick Hayes were in attendance along with the students' parents.
