Comedy improv night to benefit injured CHP officer Tony Pedeferri

Ventura Improv Company will host a fundraiser for California Highway Patrol officer Tony Pedeferri from 6 to 8 p.m. Sun., April 27 at the theater, 34 N. Palm St., Ventura.

Tickets are $25 and space is limited. To reserve seats, send checks, payable to "Ventura Area Squad Club" with Tony Pedeferri on the memo line, to Jeff Landau, 3449 Soft Whisper Court, Simi Valley, CA 93065.

Pedeferri was critically injured during a routine traffic stop in December. One hundred percent of proceeds will be donated to Pedeferri and his family.
