Letter deemed offensive

I object! In his letter in the April 10 Acorn, Larry Brown wrote, "We have an orthodox Jewish community who want to string up fishing line from light poles and defile our most pristine open space."

Mr. Brown, excuse me, but in January 2007 that Orthodox community removed every last vestige of fishing wire, publicly apologized to the communities of Oak Park and Agoura Hills, and abandoned all efforts to move forward with construction of the eruv.

This statement was inflammatory and unnecessary. Before you go pointing fingers, perhaps you ought get your facts straight.
