Volunteers invited to search and rescue workshop

Project Far From Home founder Kimberly R. Kelly Falconer will conduct a four-hour workshop on searching for missing Alzheimers patients from 8 a.m. to noon Sat., April 26 at the Agoura Hills Civic Center, 30001 Ladyface Court, Agoura Hills.

Students will learn how to determine whether a subject may be suffering from Alzheimer's or related dementias; how to properly interview family and caregivers and search methods and techniques.

The workshop is free and open to all area Citizen Emergency Response Team (CERT) and search and rescue team members. Reservations are necessary.
