Restored creek shows early signs of life

SPRING BLOOM- LIfe is back to normal at Las Virgenes Creek in Calabasas, which was recently restored to its natural state after spending the last 30 years as a concrete-lined flood control channel. The $1.2million restoration took place along a 400foot section of the stream between Agoura Road and the 101 Freeway. At top is the Agoura Road bridge. Photo courtesy city of Calabasas
