Oaks Christian prepares the way of the Lord in 'Godspell'
Show begins tonight and runs through April 12

DAY BY DAY- An Oaks Christian student portrays Jesus surrounded by his disciples in the school's production of the rock musical "Godspell" based on Matthew's gospel in the Bedrosian Pavilion Theatre on the school campus in Westlake Village.
The Oaks Christian Theatre Arts Department presents its spring musical "Godspell" at 7:30 p.m. tonight through Sat., April 10 to 12 in the school's Bedrosian Pavilion Theatre, 31729 La Tienda Drive in Westlake Village.

Tickets cost $15 and are available through the website at GODSPELLtix@aol.com.

Godspell, one of the most popular rock musicals of all time, is a contemporary retelling of the parables in the gospel of Matthew.

Stephen Schwartz wrote the songs, which include "God Save the People," "All Good Gifts," and "Day By Day."

This production features an ensemble of 45 actors and is directed by Oaks Christian theatre arts director Rosalind Allen Enciso.
