Historical society to meet

A meeting is scheduled of the Canoga-Owensmouth Historical Society at 7:30 p.m. Wed., April 9 at the historic fire station at 7248 Owensmouth Ave., Canoga Park.

Guest speaker David Cosia will talk about the "Big Red Car" that influenced the daily lives of the early residents living in the San Fernando Valley.

The meeting is free and refreshments will be provided. The historical museum maintained by the society will be open for visitors prior to and after the meeting.
