Meet wild animals in Oak Park

A special demonstration and presentation of live wild animals titled "Safe Passages- Coexisting With Your Neighbors" is scheduled at 1 p.m. Sat., April 19 at the Oak Park Community Center, 1000 N. Kanan Road.

The event is free to the public and limited to the first 140 persons.

Christa Kermode, field representative for the Mountain Lion Foundation, will give a PowerPoint slide show about the behavior of mountain lions who inhabit local hills.

Molly Hogan from Nature of Wild Works will bring live animals to show.

The program is sponsored by Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District, and the Rancho Simi Trail Blazers.
