Three musicians to play Bodie House

Concerts at the Bodie House will present John Batdorf, James Lee Stanley and Bill Batstone at 8 p.m. Sat., April 12 at the Bodie House.

Batdorf began playing acoustic music with Mark Rodney in 1970, touring with groups such as Bread, The Youngbloods, Loggins and Messina, Three Dog Night, Dan Fogelberg, Chicago and Seals and Crofts.

The concert will include music from Batdorf's two recent solo albums, Batdorf and Rodney songs, and music from the Batdorf/Stanley album, "All Wood and Stone," Rolling Stones songs performed on acoustic guitar.

Stanley is a songwriter/singer who has performed with Peter Tork of The Monkees as well as solo shows across the country. His albums include "Freelance Human Being," "Even Cowgirls Get the Blues" and "The Eternal Contradiction."

Tickets are $15 and include a dessert and appetizer bar. All proceeds go to the musicians. Reservations are required, and directions will be given upon RSVP.
