A good sign

I wish to compliment whoever is responsible and designed the exquisite and classy sign just completed indicating "130 Mae Boyer Simi Parks & Recreation Department" located at Conifer and Kanan roads. I watched it being built and now at its completion it is a first-class item.

Also, as plans are being made to replace the "Welcome to Oak Park" sign at Kanan Road and Tamarind Street knocked down about six weeks ago, when it is replaced I would like to see a light unit lighting up the sign when it gets dark. The one we had that was destroyed by a driver was a lovely design but it didn't have a light and when dark at night, the sign was unseen.
