Dog park hearing is April 10

The Oak Park Recreation and Park Planning Committee will hold a public hearing to further consider the possibility of constructing an off-leash dog park in Oak Park at 7 p.m. Thurs., April 10 at the Oak Park Community Center and Gardens, 1000 N. Kanan Road.

Previous discussion included review of two location choices at Oak Canyon Community Park, 5600 Hollytree Drive. The committee favored the archery range due to its distance from housing.

Oak Park residents are invited to attend the meeting and share their thoughts regarding the proposed project.
