Soap Box Derby runs on April 12

The 2008 Soap Box Derby, Dole/YMCA Healthy Kids Day, Car Show, Barbecue, Carnival and Family Fun Day will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sat., April 12 at the Farmers Insurance building parking lot, 31051 Agoura Road in Westlake Village.

The event will include soapbox derby races, Healthy Kids Day exhibitors, an antique and classic car show, community barbecue, bounce house, obstacle course, bloodmobile, music and dancing, a magician and free T-shirts while supplies last.

Approximately 125 soapbox car races are scheduled. Registration for the races is closed.
