Purim fun on tap at Temple Beth Haverim

The second-grade class of Temple Beth Haverim will present the annual "Purim Shpeil"- a program explaining the holiday of Purim- at 6:30 p.m. tonight, Thurs., March 20 at the synagogue, 29900 Ladyface Court, Agoura Hills.

Immediately following the program, an abbreviated version of the Megillah, the story of Esther, will be read for all to hear. Noisemakers will be given to all who attend and everyone is invited to wear a costume. Pastries called Hamantashen and other refreshments will be served after the reading. All are invited to attend.

At 8 p.m. Rabbi Gershon Weissman will be reading the Gantze Megillah, the whole Megillah, for adults only. Participants may bring their own noisemakers and come in costume.
