Agoura Hills City Calendar

The city of Agoura Hills Department of Community Services has announced the availability of the new Spring 2008 Brochure.

Classes are available for children ages 1 through 10, teens 11 through 17 and adults. Dance, art, sports, cooking, fitness, fencing and foreign language classes are being offered at the Agoura Hills Recreation Center this session.

A variety of camp programs are being offered for ages 3 through 16 during the Las Virgenes School District spring break from March 24 to 28.

•"Springtime Fun Camp" for ages 3 to 6 will be held at the recreation center from 9 a.m. to noon. The fee is $20 per day.

•"Spring Caravans" for ages 6 to 10 will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for a fee of $35. The camp will feature field trips to local venues such as Build-A-Bear and Chuck E. Cheese.

•"Adventure Club" for ages 10 to 16 will include trips to City Walk and a movie, Magic Mountain, Disneyland and Golf 'N Stuff. Teen trips are from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday for a cost of $35; and from 8a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday with a cost of $45.

•A tennis camp for children ages 6 to 14 will be held from 9:30 a.m. to noon at Agoura High School, 28645 W. Driver Ave. The cost for the weeklong camp is $150.

•A gymnastics and cheer camp, an acting camp, sports and golf camps are also available during spring break.

•The recreation center will hold its fourth annual Camp Agoura Hills Ice Cream Social from 2 to 4 p.m. Sat., April 12 at the center. Games, face painting and buildyour-own sundaes will be presented by camp staff and instructors while they provide information on camp options for the summer season.

A variety of camps will be available for youths ages 3 to 15.
