Scenic artwork exhibit opens on March 30

The Mountains Restoration Trust will host the fifth annual art exhibit by Allied Artists of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sun., March 30 at the Headwaters Corner at Mulholland Highway and Old Topanga Canyon Road, Calabasas.

"En plein air" artwork featuring the parklands and scenic locations of the Santa Monica Mountains and Seashore will be exhibited and sold.

Allied Artists was formed in 1990 in the tradition of "plein air" painters such as William Wendt, Guy Rose and Franz Bischoff.

Twenty percent of all sales will be donated to the Mountains Restoration Trust.
