The Buccaneers to play Bodie's

Concerts at the Bodie House presents The Buccaneers at 8 p.m. Sat., March 15 in Agoura Hills.

The band consists of Rodger Leeder on vocals, mandolin, bass guitar, guitar; Seán Sabraw on vocals, guitar, bass guitar, bodhran, mandolin; and Jim Samuelson on vocals, saxophone, penny whistles, tambourine, bones.

The group has established a strong hometown crowd, developed a school show that has reached students at more than 150 schools across Canada, recorded and released a second album, is working on a third, and maintains a crosscountry touring schedule.

Event organizers describe the music as "aggressive Canadian folk music."

A $15 donation is requested and all proceeds go to the musicians. A free dessert/appetizer bar is provided.
