Drive-through Girl Scout cookies are the latest

TEAMWORK- Girl Scouts from Oak Park and Westlake Village prepare to staff a drive-through cookie booth at the Oak Park Community Center this weekend.

Girl Scout troops from Oak Park and Westlake Village will provide a drive-through cookie booth on Sat. and Sun., March 15 and 16 at Oak Park Community Center, 1000 Kanan Road.

The cookies sell for $4 per box. Cookies can also be purchased for the nonprofit organization Operation Gratitude, which sends boxes or cases of cookies, along with an individual greeting, to U.S. military troops overseas.

The cookie sale is part of the Girl Scout Leadership Development Program in teaching girls how to set personal and team goals, budget and expense tracking, and customer service skills.
