Temple speaker will address American immigration issues

Roger Waldinger

The monthly Shabbat Speaker Series of Temple Beth Haverim presents Roger Waldinger, PhD, who will discuss immigration issues at 8 p.m. Fri., March 14 at the synagogue, 29900 Ladyface Court, Agoura Hills.

Waldinger is a resident of Agoura Hills and professor at UCLA who works on international migration to the United States and its social, political and economic consequences.

He is studying contemporary second generation of immigrant offspring and the political sociology of international migration. He has published papers in several academic journals.
