Oak Park to host Easter egg hunt

Rancho Simi Recreation and Park District will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt and Spring Arts and Crafts Fair on Sat., March 22 at Mae Boyar Park, 130 Kanan Road in Oak Park.

The Easter egg hunt will feature hunts for candy-filled eggs for children in designated age groups. Ages 3 and younger will hunt at 9:30 a.m.; ages 4 and 5 at 11:15 a.m.; ages 6 and 7 at 11:30 a.m.; and ages 8 to 10 at noon. Children ages 6 and younger must be accompanied by an adult. Participants should bring their own Easter baskets.

The srts and crafts fair will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Vendors will sell handmade and embellished items such as housewares, clothing, artwork and woodwork.

Other activities include a moonbounce and rock-climbing wall.

Admission to the egg hunts and craft fair is free, but there will be a cost for some activities. Food will be available to buy.
