Parents with special needs children meet

The Special Education Advisory Committee of the Oak Park Unified School District will meet on Tues., March 11 in the community room of Oak Park Library, 899 N. Kanan Road.

The general meeting will be from 6:30 to 7 p.m., followed by the program from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Fran Arner-Costello, director of programs and services of Ventura County SELPA will discuss tips and strategies for monitoring success and fostering good communication to assure services are being provided and progress is being made.

Special education parents Julie Kerns, Jeanine Iverso, Nancy Pearlman and others will provide input as well.
