Area school groups to play at Jam Fest
Event spotlights talented high school musicians

Three area high schools will hold the second annual Jam Fest from 3 to 6 p.m. Sun., March 9 at the Knitting Factory, 7021 Hollywood Blvd., Hollywood.

The Jam Fest, hosted by Bridges Academy of Studio City, is a musical gathering that spotlights young talent and raises money for MusiCares, the philanthropic arm of the National Academy of Recording Artists and Sciences.

The event features musicians from Bridges, HarvardWestlake and Oakwood schools.

The festival is underwritten by The Al Sherman Foundation through its support of the Bridges Academy music program.
