Egg-squisite art show, sale

The 29th annual California Egg Artistry Show and Sale will be Sat., and Sun., March 8 and 9 at the Hyatt Westlake Plaza, 880 Westlake S. Westlake Blvd., Westlake Village.

Public viewing hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.

National and international artists will display works of art in the style of Faberge created from actual eggshells. Each shell is marked, cut and decorated by hand.

Eggs are turned into working carousels, musical jewelry boxes, beaded clocks, perfume bottles, Christmas tree ornaments and egg-quariums with water and live fish.

Artists will also present seminars. There will be hourly door prize drawings and raffles. The event is family friendly.

Admission is $5 for adults and $3 for for children under 3.
