Top golfers compete at Oak Park Invitational

The eighth annual Oak Park Invitational golf tournament took place Monday at North Ranch Country Club and the Harvard Westlake boys' squad took the overall team title with a total score of 228.

Brentwood High was second with a score of 229, followed by West Ranch (232).

With a total score of 234, the Royal High boys' finished fourth overall. The Highlanders' score was the best among local teams.

Westlake and Moorpark both finished with a score of 247, while Oak Park posted a 250. Viewpoint finished with a 252, while Calabasas' second squad came in just behind the Patriots with a 253.

Thousand Oaks (254), Agoura (257), Royal's second team (261), Calabasas' first squad (262), Newbury Park (263), Oaks Christian's first team (263), Agoura's second squad (279) and Oaks Christian's second team (284) also competed.

West Ranch's Jay Lim posted the best individual score with a 73, just ahead of Harvard Westlake's Eli Cole, who finished one stroke back.
