A vandal caused $200 in damages by shattering the window of a vehicle parked in the 5400 block of Micaela Drive Feb. 18.

Someone caused $2,000 in damages while attempting to gain entry into a business in the 29500 block of Canwood Street Feb. 17. They shattered several windows, but nothing was taken.

Calabasas

A thief stole a laptop computer, two iPods and other accessories from a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home in the 4000 block of Blackbird Way Feb. 20. The loss was about $3,000.

A thief stole 50 music CDs valued at $500 and caused $300 in damages by shattering the window of a vehicle parked in the 3900 block of Blackbird Way Feb. 20.

Someone stole a Blackberry device, a $325 pair of sunglasses and $20 in cash from a vehicle parked in the 4000 block of Blackbird Way Feb. 20.

A burglar caused $300 in damages to gain entry into a vehicle parked in the 4000 block of Meadowlark Drive Feb 19. The thief stole a briefcase, a Blackberry and other accessories valued at about $700.

Someone caused $100 in damages to a vehicle parked in the 22900 block of Hummingbird Way Feb. 20. Nothing was stolen during the incident.

A vandal caused $700 in damages to a vehicle parked in the driveway of a home in the 23000 block of Hummingbird Way Feb. 19.

A thief stole $2,000 in cash from an unlocked vehicle parked in the 24000 block of Calabasas Road Feb. 18. The money was inside the glove compartment.

Oak Park

The pedestrian bridge at Medea Creek Park was vandalized with black spray paint on either Feb. 16 or 17, deputies said. Lights were broken on Feb. 17 or 18 in the 6000 block of Caledonia Court.

A thief stole property valued at more than $400 on Feb. 5 in the 800 block of Kanan Road. The crime was only recently reported.
