Tax voodoo

Are Bush's tax cuts good for the economy? Of course not. The millionaire will not spend his rebate and the little guy will not get enough back to make a difference when it is spent.

What if these tax cuts were targeted at the middle class, those who would spend the money? Wouldn't the entire economy benefit? Well yes, and instead of shrinking the middle class, you would grow it and thus create more consumers who in turn buy more of what is manufactured and services performed by corporations, thus making the economy vigorous from bottom to top, the antithesis of "trickle down economics" also known as "voodoo economics."

Sorry, President Bush, it s not a coincidence that world financial markets crashed the day you announced your so-called stimulus package. You have already demonstrated that you are inept or dishonest or both, and now you have given us a recession we can't afford either. Sorry, President Bush, this November we will be the deciders.
