Former NFL quarterback to coach at OPHS

The Oak Park High football team has added three new coaches for next season, including former NFL quarterback Erik Kramer.

Kramer, who will coach the quarterbacks and wide receivers for the OPHS varsity team, played for the Detroit Lions, Chicago Bears, San Diego Chargers and Atlanta Falcons. He threw for 15,337 yards and 92 touchdowns in his 10-year career.

The Eagles also brought in Chris White and D.J. Cook to help coach the freshman and junior varsity squads. White is the school's head lacrosse coach. Cook is a first-year teacher at OPHS.
