A thief stole an emergency road kit, a wallet with credit cards, and a backpack containing textbooks and school supplies from a vehicle parked in the 6000 block of Lake Nadine Place Jan. 30. The loss was $370.

Calabasas

Vandals caused $1,000 in damages as they tried to steal the steat from vehicle parked in the 4700 block of Commons Way Feb. 12.

Burglars stole numerous jewelry items from a business in the 22200 block of Mulholland Highway Feb. 11. The culprits shattered a glass window to gain entry and took most of the goods from a display case.

Oak Park

A 48-year-old male on a date was arrested for battery at 12:30 p.m. Feb. 11 in the 6700 block of Pheasant Lane.

A thief stole a purse on Feb. 9 or 10 in the 500 block of Aspen View Court.

Westlake Village

A thief stole $200 in cash, a gift card for $400 and perfumes and cosmetics worth $650 from a vehicle parked in the 5700 block of Lindero Canyon Road Feb. 12. The culprit caused $500 in damages to the vehicle during the break-in.

A vandal caused $220 in damages by breaking into a container at a business in the 5700 block of Corsa Avenue Feb. 8. Nothing was reported stolen.
