Not informed about fluoride

"Fluoride is required by law" per Ron Stark's guest opinion should have read "Toxicology on fluoride is required by law." Water customers are entitled by law to know what chemicals are being added to their water and what the toxicology is on those chemicals. Right now no one can give any of our local public officials that information, including Zev Yaroslavsky, who has requested it on behalf of his residents in L.A. County.

It is unconscionable that the Metropolitan Water District has allowed this situation to occur and that we are even having this discussion. MWD has a responsibility to get all the toxicology information out to our local water wholesalers and districts so they can share this important information with all residents so they can make educated decisions for themselves.
