Comedy Sportz of Oak Park High School is sponsoring two fundraisers in next two weeks.

•The first, on Fri., Feb 22, will benefit the high school in a match that pits students against teachers.

The event begins with pregame show at 7 p.m in the OPHS Pavilion, 899 N. Kanan Road, Oak Park. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.

•The second event, scheduled for 7 p.m. Sat., March 8 at the Pavilion, will benefit Women's Partnership for Justice and Peace in Sierra Leone, a West Africabased organization devoted to getting girls off the dangerous city streets and giving them a safe haven for learning and empowerment.

Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for students. Pizza, drinks and desserts will be sold at the event.

Available for $50 are sponsorship packages, which include two tickets to the event, a Justice and Peace T-shirt and a $1off coupon for concessions. One sponsorship will provide a West African girl with uniform, books, supplies and schooling for a year.
