Recycling strategy

One simple way Calabasas residents can assist our city in meeting the ambitious goal of recycling 75 percent of our waste by 2012 is to switch out their small 64gallon recycling can for the larger 95gallon recycling can. There is no extra collection fee or delivery charge for the new 95-gallon recycling can. Simply call Waste Management directly at (818) 707-8800 and request the change.

These days nearly all household waste can be recycled, including any type of paper except books, plastic bottles numbered 1 and 2 on the bottom, cleaned glass and beverage containers, cans, cardboard containers and boxes.
