Prayer brunch served

A prayer brunch hosted by Magnificat: a Ministry to Catholic Women will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sat., March 1 at Odyssey Restaurant, 15600 Odyssey Drive in Granada Hills.

The guest speaker, the Rev. Bob Garon, will talk his experiences as a young comedian, experimenting with New Age

until he had a conversion experience that changed his life.

Reservations must be postmarked by Mon., Feb. 18. The brunch costs $26. Checks should me made out to Magnificat and sent to Teri Thompson, 6202 Wisteria Drive, Simi Valley, CA 93063.
