Bodie House concerts slated

Concerts at the Bodie House in Agoura Hills will present two upcoming concerts. Steve Seskin will perform 8 p.m. Sat., Jan. 26, and Kenny Edwards and Nina Gerber perform at 8 p.m. on Sat., Feb. 2.

Seskin is a songwriter in Nashville, Tenn., whose songs have been recorded by Tim McGraw, Neal McCoy, Kenny Chesney, Collin Raye, Peter Frampton, Waylon Jennings, Alabama and Mark Wills.

His song "Don't Laugh At Me" was a finalist for the Country Music Awards Song Of The Year and became the impetus for the Operation Respect/Don't Laugh At Me Project, a curriculum designed to teach tolerance in schools.

Edwards was a co-founder of The Stone Poneys and has performed with Linda Ronstadt and Bobby Kimmel. Gerber is a performer, producer and arranger who has worked with Nanci Griffith, Greg Brown, Lucy Kaplansky, Mollie O'Brien, Jerry Jeff Walker, Karla Bonoff, Ferron, Rosalie Sorrels, Cheryl Wheeler, Terry Garthwaite and Tom Paxton.

A $15 donation is requested. All proceeds go to the musicians.
