La Reina High to hold parent education night

The Guidance Department at La Reina High School will offer a Junior High Parent Education Night 7 p.m. Wed., Jan. 30 in La Reina's cafeteria, 106 W. Janss Road in Thousand Oaks.

The workshop will explore how students can prepare for college and is for parents of students in grades five through nine.

Topics will include adolescent development, the various college systems, college requirements and long-range preparation for college admission.
