Sponsors needed for golf tourney

Players and sponsors are being sought for the Agoura High School baseball program's second annual golf tournament fundraiser Mon., Feb. 25 at the Moorpark Country Club, 11800 Championship Drive.

The Texas Scramble-style tournament has check in and putting contest at 9:30 a.m., shotgun start 10:30 a.m., cocktails and music 4:30 p.m. and dinner with raffle and silent auction at 5:30 p.m.

Prizes are offered for hole in one, long drive contest, closest to the pin, and putting contest. Team prizes will be given for first, second and third place.

Player fees are $200, which include green fees, cart, box lunch, two beverage tickets, dinner and tee bag. MVP Foursome is $1,000. Nongolfers may purchase dinner for $60.

Sponsorship levels are $1,500 to $5,000.

All proceeds from the tourney will benefit the Agoura Chargers Baseball, a nonprofit organization.

Country club attire is required, including soft spikes and collared shirts, and no denim.
