Agoura Hills law firm expanding

The Synder Dorenfeld law firm has moved into larger quarters at a new two-story building purchased at 5010 Chesebro Road in Agoura Hills.

The 5,400-square-foot building was constructed by a local developer.

Principals Brad Snyder and David Dorenfeld said the move from their Calabasas office was necessary because of the rapid expansion of the firm.

Associated with the two partners are attorneys Rodger Greiner, Michael Margolin and Steven DeVore. Also employed are Gerald Peter, of counsel, as appellate specialist, and several paralegal assistants in various areas of legal expertise.

The firm will soon celebrate its 50th anniversary. The general litigation practice emphasizes insurance defense and coverage, construction, business disputes, real estate and significant injury cases.

A cut above

Jason Fonte has established the Cleo Annex Salon in Oak Park after 17 years in Santa Barbara and Ventura counties.

He has cut and styled hair for celebrities and clients in the music business. Fonte has recently attended some of the hair industry's top schools such as Vidal Sassoon and Wella to further educate himself and bring new ideas to his clients.

"What's most important to me is you, my client, that you leave with a smile and keep smiling until the next time you are in my chair," said Fonte.
