Oak Park Choir members chosen for honors ensemble

Four members of the Oak Park High School Choir have been selected for the 2008 California All State Honors choir.

Francesca Corley, Andrew Karl, Laura Miller and Michael Potter were selected from among 1,500 students from across the state on the basis of their audition scores.

The honor choir will perform for the California Music Educators Association music convention in Sacramento on March 15.

Finalists are represented from 43 high schools in the state.

Jing Ling-Tams and Geoffrey Boers will conduct the choir.

The students will be accompanied by Heidi Cissell, Oak Park High School choir teacher.
