Website for carpoolers helps busy parents

For millions of American parents who carpool their children to and from school, activities and points in between, creating car pool schedules can be a daunting task. Trying to coordinate and keep track of everyone's driving availability, pickup times and lastminute schedule changes can be a logistical nightmare.

These issues are the motivation behind Divide the Ride, a newly launched car pooling website designed to help busy parents by creating car pool calendars based on their schedules and driving availability.

Divide the Ride utilizes webbased technology and is fast, easy and free to use. It is also safe and secure.

Getting started is simple. Parents choose families they know to join their car pool. Once car pool members are on board, all participants enter their driving availability, and Divide the Ride creates a car pool schedule for them- all in a few moments. The car pool schedule is e-mailed to everyone, along with text messages and e-mail reminders.

Divide the Ride eliminates the time, effort and confusion that can go along with traditional car pool scheduling. The site provides parents with a free, secure and easy-to-use method of creating car pools with families they know and trust.
