Volunteer opportunities at Mountains Restoration Trust
Students can earn community service hours

Mountains Restoration Trust invites individuals and groups to help restore the Santa Monica Mountains by assisting with native plantings and removal of invasive plant species.

Bring water, gloves and sunscreen and wear a sturdy shoes and work clothes. Tools are provided.

Cold Creek Preserve, 9 a.m. to noon Sun., Jan. 27. Help re-establish the oak and willow woodlands along the creek. Oak woodland restoration supports the animals that live in the park. Earn community service credit. Reservations required.

Dry Canyon Creek Habitat Restoration. Join the ongoing community effort to restore Dry Canyon Creek at headwaters Corner, part of a headwater ecosystem for the Los Angeles River. Earn community service credit. Reservations required.
