Character building conference set for Jan. 21

Pepperdine University and the Boy Scouts of America present a conference on "Character Perspectives: The Role of Character in Our Society" from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Mon., Jan. 21 at Pepperdine University, Drescher Graduate Campus, 24255 Pacific Coast Hwy., Malibu.

Guest speakers will discuss the vision of a world in which people make ethical and moral choices over their lifetime. All are welcome.
