Jewish academy announces courses
      The Conejo Jewish Academy will be starting its winter semester on Wed., Jan. 16 at 30345 Canwood St., Agoura Hills. The academy is in its 14th year of providing adult education classes to the community on a variety of Judaic subjects.

Speakers, movie on the agenda for January
      The Tuesday Social is a fellowship group for members and nonmembers age 60 and above. Meetings are from 2 to 4 p.m. at the social hall, Temple Adat Elohim, 2420 E. Hillcrest Drive, Thousand Oaks. Refreshments and entertainment are provided. Following are the programs for January.
