Burglars stole a duffle bag containing an iPOD, accessories, and clothing with a combined value of $500. The incident occurred at an office in the 28300 block of Agoura Road Dec. 19.

Vandals caused $600 in damages when they smashed the rear window of a vehicle parked in a driveway in the 4300 block of Park Vicente Dec. 22. Nothing was reported stolen.

Someone cut down a pepper tree that was located in the backyard of a home at the 24100 block of Park Riviera Dec. 24. The loss is estimated at $2,000.

Thieves stole a purse containing a wallet, cellphone, keys, cash and credit cards from a patio table at Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf in the 23600 block of Calabasas Road Dec. 14. The items were valued at $500.

Someone stole a $500 GPS unit from the dashboard of a vehicle parked in the 24000 block of Alder Place Dec. 9.

Burglars shattered a $200 window and stole a $50 purse from a vehicle parked in the 24000 block of Chestnut Way Dec. 9.

A male, 39, filed a false police report at 3:30 p.m. Dec. 22 in the 5800 block of Hickory Drive.

Westlake Village

A person caused $1,700 in damages when they allegedly tried to steal a van parked in the rear parking lot of a business in the 31100 block of Via Colinas Dec. 12.
