'Twelfth Night' final shows

The Globe in Topanga presents its last performances of Shakespeare's "Twelfth Night" at 8 p.m. Sat. and Sun., Jan. 5 and 6.

Twelfth Night is a Christian holiday that concludes the Twelve Days of Christmas, a period of feasting and merrymaking that runs from Dec. 25 through Jan. 5. During the 12 days, traditional roles were often relaxed, masters waited on their servants and men and women were allowed to dress as the opposite gender.

The Los Angeles Shakespeare Company will perform in The Globe's 50seat indoor theater, a Tudor-style building modeled after the birthplace of Shakespeare in Stratford-Upon-Avon.

Reservations are recommended. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for seniors and students.

The theater is at 1909 N. Topanga Canyon Blvd., Topanga. There is free parking behind theater or on the street.

For reservations, call (310) 455-9400 or visit www.shakespeare-usa.com.
