JANN HENDRY/Acorn Newspapers PEACE OFFERING- Lonnie Jordan, lead singer and original member of the '70s rock group War, sings to a packed house at The Canyon club on Dec. 29. Jordan, who recorded such memorable hits as "Cisco Kid," "Low Rider," "Me and Baby Brother," "Slippin' Into Darkness," Why Can't We Be Friends" and "The World is a Ghetto," gave the Agoura Hills dinner and dance club one of its most entertaining shows of the year.
