Guest artist Tina LeBlanc resumes role
      Pacific Festival Ballet, resident ballet company of the Countrywide Performing Arts Center, will present the 15th annual performance of "The Nutcracker" at 2 and 7 p.m. Sat., Dec. 20 and 2 and 6 p.m. Sun., Dec. 21 at the Thousand Oaks Civic Arts Plaza, 2100 E. Thousand Oaks Blvd.

The Canyon laughs it up on Tuesday nights
      Jon Lovitz and other stand-up comedians are the laughing stock of The Canyon. Lovitz kicked off his new Tuesday night gig, "Jon Lovitz Presents Comedy at The Canyon," on Dec. 2 at the Agoura Hills club. Also performing at the comedy premiere were Frazier Smith and Dana Eagle.

All American Ballet performs traditional holiday dance
      All American Ballet will present a new production of "The Nutcracker" ballet at 5:30 p.m. Sat., Dec. 20 and 2 p.m. Sun., Dec. 21 at Ventura High School Auditorium, 2 N. Catalina St., Ventura. The production is choreographed by Alexei Badrak, former assistant director of the Bolshoi Ballet Theater in Russia.
