Pet food drive helps seniors in need
Annual campaign ensures furry friends are fed
The third annual Season of Suppers campaign is a pet food drive to help homebound, needy seniors feed their companion animals. Residents may bring pet food and monetary donations to Banfield, The Pet Hospital locations at 2685 W. Hillcrest Drive in Thousand Oaks; 5766 Lindero Canyon Road North in Westlake Village; or 2021 N. Oxnard Blvd. in Oxnard. Donations will be accepted until Dec. 31. Supporters may also purchase full-color, pet-themes note cards. A packet of eight cards costs $10 and all proceeds will go to the campaign. To purchase cards, call the Banfield Charitable Trust at (503) 922-5801 or e-mail info @banfieldcharitabletrust.org. Last year the campaign raised more than $51,000 to help 50 senior meal programs. |
