Docents needed at Malibu Museum, Adamson House

The Malibu Lagoon Museum, Adamson House, has openings for volunteer docents to provide tours of the home for the public.

The house is in Malibu State Lagoon Park, west of the Malibu pier next to Surfrider Beach.

Docents provide tours two days each month and are on-call on those days for approximately four hours. Tours are given from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday.

Training is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on six consecutive Tuesdays. There is a $40 fee for course materials and museum membership.
